The BEST Low Carb Breakfast For Carb Cycling

Like we mentioned before, Carb Cycling does NOT need to be bland and boring... 

In fact, low carb days are often times more enjoyable than high carb days because of recipes like the one below...

The key to great low carb meals is having the high in protein and healthy fats, and low in carbs. And that's exactly what you'll find in the recipe below...​

"Egg Scramble Muffins"

Ingredients Needed...

6 Eggs
1 Pinch of Salt and Black Pepper
1/4 Teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper
1/4 Teaspoon of Garlic Powder
1 Handful of Baby Spinach (chopped)
1/2 Onion (chopped)
4-6 Slices of Bacon (cooked and chopped)
Grated Cheese (to place on top when finished cooking)
2 Tablespoons of Grass Fed Butter (to grease the muffin tin)


1) Preheat the over to 350 degrees
2) Whisk the eggs, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, and garlic powder together
3) Stir in spinach, onions, and half of the bacon
4) Coat the muffin tin with butter
5) Fill each muffin tin approximately 3/4 way to the top with the egg mixture...
6) Top each muffin with bacon...
7) Bake for 20-25 minutes or until eggs are cooked through

What's amazing about this recipe, is that you can make it once and have the Egg Scramble Muffins for the rest of the week... That means you can make it on Sunday, then can wake up each morning and microwave it for a delicious fat burning, low carb breakfast!

So Why Should You Cycle Your Carbs? 

If you are wondering WHY you should cycle your carbs... Basically, when you carb cycle, what you are really doing is keeping your body guessing. One day you are having lower amount of carbs and the next your are shocking the body with a higher carb day.

Essentially, you are telling your body to burn fat on low carb days, then when you follow that up with a high carb day, your body gets shocked which allows for you to burn fat while maintaining your lean muscle. In short, when you carb cycle, you keep your body at optimal fat burning levels.

It's a very effective and proven process.
