"Interval Eating" For Faster Results?
Here's How To Do It Right...

BY KELSEY HEENAN, HIITBURN.com

I'm sure you've heard the word "KETO" thrown around quite a but these last several months. However, if Keto and low carb isn't for you then there's a new nutrition protocol that I want to show you...

It's called "Interval Eating".

And here's my favorite part about this: you can enjoy your favorite foods from the get-go!

The way I teach Interval Eating, it's broken down into two parts:

WHEN YOU EAT & WHAT YOU EAT

And what's great about this, is "when to eat" and "what to eat" are often what people are confused about with their nutrition. I get questions all the time...

"Kelsey, should I eat this? Should I eat that? When should I eat my carbs? When can I eat pizza?" When can I drink wine?"

All very good questions and I want to help take the guess work out for you...

So if you're ready, let's dive in...

Interval Eating Part One: WHEN TO EAT

When it coms to "When to eat", everyone is slightly different. However, I've found that following a flexible Intermittent Fasting approach works very well. Now...

This is NOT a strict protocol that says "you can ONLY eat during these times..." Instead...

All I recommend doing is fasting each day for 10-14 hours, then having your eating interval window be the remaining hours. For example...

If you finish eating at 9pm the night before, you could eat your breakfast between 7am-9am the next morning and that would be a 10-12 hour fast. Pretty simple, right?

Even better, during your short fasting window you can still enjoy your morning coffee, drink water, have some tea, etc.

Now that we've covered the "WHEN" lets talk about the "WHAT"...

Interval Eating Part TWO: WHAT TO EAT

It can be so confusing sometimes to know WHAT to eat when it comes to getting your best results.

I personally struggled with this for a really long time. I tried the cleanses, the low carb, keto, etc. However, every time I felt like I was back at square one.

I firmly believe that the biggest problem most people face with nutrition is jumping from one thing to the next. And...

I used to do the same thing - I yo-yo'd like nobodies business.

That was until I found CARB CYCLING - this has been the best thing I've done in my nutrition.

Properly timing your carbs has made all the difference for me. Let me give you an example...

Right now, I eat one lower carb day and then have a higher carb day. I then repeat in that fashion.

Now, depending on what YOUR goal is at the moment will determine your Carb Cycle.

For example, if you are someone looking to lose weight, you might want to start with a "2-1" cycle.

Take our quiz here to determine your Carb Cycle...

That means having 2-lower carb days, followed by a higher carb day and repeat.

I know that sounds simple, but it WORKS!

Now, you might be asking yourself... "OK, but WHAT do I eat?"

It's simple:

On Lower Carb Days: Protein, Veggies, and Healthy Fats (example meal: 3 eggs, spinach, topped with avocado)

On Higher Carb Days: Protein, Veggies, and CARBS (example meal: chicken, rice, peppers and broccoli all stir fried together)

Now, I know this sounds super simple. And that's because it is.

I've been following this approach for nearly 6 years - sure I'll change some things up (like my carb cycle based on what I am trying to achieve). However...

The BASICS of what I am doing stay the same. And...

Honestly, I haven't felt like I have been on a "diet" in years because I am able to eat all my favorite foods every single week!

I mean, I'm not skipping Taco Tuesday. I'm not skipping out on that Burger at Happy Hour. I'm not skipping brunch with the girls.

And neither should you.

Now, if you want to take this one step further, take my short quiz below...
