The NEW 300 Bodyweight Workout!

Remember the movie '300'? The one with Gerard Butler about the city of Sparta taking on army after army in battle with just 300 men...

Well, I don't know if you know this, but all the actors and actresses trained extremely hard for their roles in that movie. 

In fact, there was a workout that surfaced that took the nation by storm in what is now called the '300 Workout'. 

If you aren't familiar with this, that workout looks like this:

The Original 300 Workout:
Workout Length: As quickly as you can finish
Fitness Level: Advanced​

Complete all reps on each exercise before moving to the next. ​Rest only as needed. Mark down how long it takes to complete the workout!

  • ​Pull-Ups - 25 reps
  • Barbell Deadlift with 135 pounds - 50 reps
  • Pushups - 50 reps
  • 24-Inch Box Jumps - 50 reps
  • Floor Wipers - 50 reps
  • Single-Arm Clean-and-Press with 36 pound Kettlebell - 50 reps
  • Pull-Ups - 25 reps

Brutal, right?! 

Kelsey and I have been through this workout before, and it's one of the most challenging we've ever done. That said...

We understand that you need quite a lot of equipment (including a barbell, kettlebell, and box), plus it includes some very advanced movements. 

That's why we wanted to put together a variation of our own that we call the 'NEW 300 Bodyweight Workout'... Now, don't get me wrong, this is a CHALLENGING workout. But one you can do just about anywhere!

Workout Length: As quickly as you can finish
Fitness Level: Intermediate-Advanced​

Complete all reps on each exercise before moving to the next. ​Rest only as needed. Mark down how long it takes to complete the workout!

  • ​Pull-Ups or Bodyweight Rows - 25 reps
  • Jump Lunges - 50 reps (total)
  • Pushups - 50 reps
  • Squat Jumps - 50 reps
  • Leg Raises (hanging or on floor) - 50 reps
  • Burpees - 50 reps
  • Pull-Ups or Bodyweight Rows - 25 reps

300 reps and you're DONE!
