Everyone loves protein bars.
They are a quick, easy, and healthy snack. However…
Most protein bars that you see on the shelves at stores are WAYYY too processed and include unnecessary ingredients.
That’s why I prefer to make my own and bring them with me on the go 🙂
And today, I have a simple 3 ingredient low carb protein bar that is perfect for your low carb days…
3 Ingredient Protein Bars
Here’s what you’ll need:
1) Peanut Butter – 1 cup
2) Chocolate Protein Powder (we use this one) – 2 scoops
3) Eggs – 2 whole
Directions
1) Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
2) Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well until you have a cookie dough like texture. If you need to add more protein powder to get the texture you want, do so.
3) Once complete, scoop about 1.5-2 tablespoons of the mixture and roll them into a ball (note: you may need to get your hands wet so it doesn’t stick)
4) Flatten the ball in your hands and place them on your baking sheet.
5) Place the protein bars/cookies in the over and bake for 9-12 minutes.
6) Once complete, let cool and enjoy!
We LOVE making these and keep them stored in the refrigerator because we actually find them to be even better cold 🙂
