Pushup are something nearly everyone I know wants to improve. Whether you can do 2 in a row or 50 in a row.
If I asked you…
Do you want to improve your pushups?
You would say “YES”, right?
Yea, me too. So…
I have a little challenge for you…
And it’s going to be pretty simple. It’ll last just 7-days, however, you’ll get a lot out of it.
Step 1:
TODAY, complete as many pushups in a row as you can. If you cannot do any pushups, do as many incline or knee pushups as you can in a row.
Remember to keep GREAT form throughout. If your form starts breaking down, stop.
TOTAL NUMBER OF PUSHUPS: __________________
Step 2:
Take your total number of pushups that you completed and multiply it by 3.
Example: 25 pushups in a row x 3 = 75 pushups
Step 3:
For days 2-5, you are going to take your number (in our example, this number is 75) and you will complete that many pushups each day.
On days 2 and 4, just complete your number of reps in any fashion that you want.
On days 3 and 5, you will do each set to failure. So try to get to your number in as few sets as possible.
Day 6, you will rest.
Day 7, you will do a retest to see how many pushups you can now do in a row!
NEW PUSHUP TOTAL: _________________
If you follow this, you will increase your pushups!
