Some days, the motivation seems to be low to get your workout in and sweat .
Whether it was from lack of sleep the night before, stress of a work project, or something personal going on, we all have those days and we totally get it. We have those days too.
But we have great news!
Establishing working out as a habit, something that you actually enjoy, and something that you look forward to is possible!
We have found some awesome ways that continue to help us really enjoy working out and make it a habit and routine within our weekly schedule.
We want to share them with you!
Give them a read and then try applying them!
First, Do Not Let the Scale Define You.
People who workout only to reach a certain number on the scale will constantly be failing. When you fail over and over, you can easily lose motivation and feel like a failure–causing you to quit altogether. At HIITBURN, we do not believe the scale is not the best measure of your progress. While working out, you will be gaining muscle and losing fat, and the scale cannot differentiate between the two.
We suggest taking progress pictures weekly to help really see the true transformation! We suggest that you monitor your results through progress photos, how your clothes fit, your energy levels, your self-esteem, how you are sleeping, ect.
This strategy works incredibly well, so stick to it!
Second, Look for Support and Accountability.
We all know that we are more likely to show up for a workout if we have a friend or co-worker meeting us! Accountability is powerful and we really think it can make working out more fun too! Here at HIITBURN, we love to support our HIITBURN family! We are available all the time to help support you, encourage you, and guide you on your health journey! Here’s a picture of our HIITBURN team members who love to interact, encourage, and support you on your health journey!
Third, Let Setbacks Slide By.
Like we said at the beginning, things in life happen. Schedules get changed or illness come. Setbacks can deteriorate people and cause them to throw up a white flag and just give up. But, the best thing you can do is recognize the setback, deal with it, and then make today the best day you can! No need to feel guilt or shame but rather let it propel you forward to continue on your journey. We always say that it is about consistency over time!
So there you have it!
Now, it is your turn!
We would love for you to try one of our workout programs and apply these three strategies! We are here to help you reach your goals and help support you as you build habits to enjoy your workouts!
