Why HIIT Workouts Are So Effective

By Dennis Heenan May 9, 2018

As you can tell by our company name, we love HIIT workouts!

HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training and is the number one style of workouts we recommend and do ourselves to get the results we want and to help us reach our goals!

HIIT-style workouts are short and sweet!

People ask us all the time, “Can you really get amazing results with just working out 3-5 times a week for 20-30 minutes?”

And the honest answer is yes! We are living testament of that!

Here are a few reasons why HIIT workouts are so effective:

HIIT workouts use a lot of energy with minimal rest time. This means you are training your body to recover quickly and well and in turn your metabolism is working extra hard! You are also pushing your body to tolerate more, and in turn you will see physical results in your body! Your heart rate is up and your body will metabolize fat for fuel!

Also, during the short but sweet HIIT workouts, your exercise exertion should be at a 10!

This means you are working as hard as you can and leaving nothing in your tank!

Like we mentioned before, HIIT workouts work great with busy schedules! And in this day and age, almost everyone has a really busy schedule! You only need as little as 10-30 minutes to get in a full workout!

Adding to that, your metabolism stay high even after you workout. This means you are continuing to burn calories post workout! Who doesn’t love that?

Lastly, many HIIT workouts require no equipment. So, you can quite literally do the workout anywhere! Whether you are in a hotel room, your living room, sidewalk outside, or anywhere else…. You can most likely get a great HIIT workout in!

We have tons of awesome HIIT workout programs that have been specifically designed to build over the program to help you progress and reach your fitness goals!
